With the initial object dropping off, I was thinking, "Where is the cartoonish 'wham' from hitting the ground?" then laughed when the thrusters kicked in thinking that was what I had been waiting for.

All the while I was waiting for a Wile-E Coyote puff of smoke

When I showed the early-related 3D panoramic to a friend, he looked up the specs and his second comment after how cool it looked was how it's a million dollar project yet, in terms of the camera, basically fitted it with an iPhone
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.
