| | Posted: | | | | For still refusing to reinstate the song When Love Is Gone, from the Muppet's Christmas Carol 20th Anniversary edition. This was one of the first films i seen as a kid, and i still have lot of nostalgia for it over the years.
I hope anyone else who enjoys this film will boycott this release, and make Disney finally see sense. |

| | Posted: | | | | I'm guessing the theatrical negative/print is probably readily available, whereas Disney would have to do some extra work to insert the missing song. Too bad they couldn't at least include it as a deleted scene extra. |

The Muppet Christmas Carol: Kermit's 50th Anniversary Edition Region 1 Released: 11/29/2005 Anamorphic 1.85:1 I was aware of this release, but i thought by the 20th anniversary, Disney would have seen the error of there ways. Given the success of Pixar in the last decade or so, who's films contain many adult elements and theme's, yet still retain a core child audience. You would think that. But no there obstinate's still persists, and now it seems i have no choice but to opt for this all be it technically inferior release. Yet the only release on DvD that contain's the key scene which pertains to Scrooges motives! |
