Not sure about your age or nationality, but it would be hard to explain the importance and impact of Lincoln on any "Baby Boomer" or older American. Some of the terminology, jokes and events would be at least difficult to fathom, but more likely absolutely meaningless to other nationalities. There both very similar films as far i can tell. Both set in the American civil war, and thematically about the struggle for equality. |
