This might be a stupid Question, but is it possible to have a Letter before the Number ie A-293 instead of 293. The reason I ask is that I have a lot of DVD/Blu-ray disks in cases that hole 600 disks. Each case has a letter to distinguish it. So Case "A" Disc number 230 is Resident Evil, Case "B" Disc Number 230 is Spiderwick, Case "C" Disc Number 230 is Usual Suspects, or am I missing something.
I have tried to put a letter in but the Collection Number Field goes Blank.

Kind Regards

Barry

This information would be better suited in the "Location" and "Slot" anyways, which holds alphanumerics
Press Ctrl+p to go to the personalize-window.

I forgot: This information is per disc, so at least one disc has to be present. If a profile doesn't has one, simply hit the "Add Disc"-Button and proceed.

And it's probably a good idea to make a backup of your database beforehand.

Location/Slot works well for this as Mithi said. If you'd like instead to stick with Collection Number, you can use a numeric range - 10000-19999 for one set, 20000-29999 for next, etc.

I have a similar system.

Boxes which hold 1000 discs. Each box is split into 4 rows and each row contains slots 1-250.
Each of my boxes is numbered.

So in Profiler I have this as
Location (Box), eg. 1
Row: choice of 1 to 4
Slot: Choice of 1-250.

So it looks like this: 1/1/233
For Box 1/Row 1/Slot 233
