| Posted: February 22, 2013 9:28 PM | | | | Ok, I have been using the MyLoD for my android phone and tablet. But oddly not all the covers are present in the directory.
So I moved the directory and had the system rebuild the thumbnails.
I ended up with 60-90 thumbnails when I have 1500+ titles in my collection.
The question is how are the Thumbnails generated ? Is there something I am missing to get it to repopulate the directory ?

It seems that the ways its rebuilding the tumbnails is via the start up suggestion window.
Right now I deleted the folder and attempted a rebuild, it has 12 images
Something aint right

When I moved the directory it had over 2k images in it, but I was trying to fix an issue where the MyLoD was not adding the thumbnails from new additions.
as they were not present in the folder.

In setting my thumbnails were set to the <Huge> setting of 240x336, and for some reason it wont rebuild the thumbnails at that size. Dropped it down to 180x252 and it repopulated the folder as it should have.
Kinda odd

Maybe DVD Profile doesn't do thumbnails in this settings but scales down the big covers on the fly. | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

However, the rebuild of the collection list thumbnails will use the thumbnails for a small enough display setting, which will indirectly rebuild the thumbnail files.
To directly ensure all thumbnails are built, run a report that uses images set to thumbnail. |
