I decided to redo my castle. Paint, flooring, plumbing, drapes. you name it.

I haven't had so much, well I won't say fun, but munch of something.

And I soon was beginning to wish I I didn't have have many of the shinny little discs, records, and books.

Not all my DVDs were on/in Boltz racks.

So I bought 5 sets of 10: 2'x2'x6" boxes. Each holds about some 140 DVDs, depending on the case type, etc.

Friday a team ascended on my little castle eager to do mayhem, pounding on my door at 8:00, but I I'm used to sleeping to 10, if not noon. You see I usually watch DVDs until at least 2 AM.

Once they got going at it and I pointing out stuff that was to go, I threw in my mattress, so I've been sleeping in a sleeping bag.

I had stowed the odd sized DVD case previously and filled a few of these boxes myself and taken care of records (LPs and CDs) and their odd sized cases. Most of the LPs are in cabinets and  the 1200 classical CDs or so are on Boltz racks. The jazz, folk, country.pop R&B, etc were all ready on my computer, some 9,000 songs,, so they were already in boxes.

I had one guy making boxes, while I fill them, and the rest were moving everything into the center of the rooms and covering everything. By the end of the day I didn't know where anything was.

Fortunately, they left my throne, (computer and chair) where I could left the covering and push to the wall and plug it in, so could watch TV on my computer. I watched ABC's Red Widow, previously I had only seen the first episode. Interesting, I wonder what the East block mobsters think of the show.

One thing that always amazes me is that people immigrate to someplace to get away from something and then when they get there they want to do the same as  they were doing where they came from.

Today, Saturday, they painted, so I had to leave my castle to the invaders.
Tomorrow, the flooring. Monday the plumbing, etc.

I hope they are done by Tuesday, except for dome final touches.

And with all that pinched nerve pain had come back, like last summer that came about mysteriously in June and just as mysteriously went away in October. I think the pain is telling me that I watching too many DVDs, because people in white jackets don't have an answer. Believe it or not. a hands on healer worked the best, that and a big box of cold packs from Amazon..
We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own.

What a mess! Amazing how much chaos is caused making things nicer.

But, it will be wonderful when it's all done.
