From the rules on Countries of Origin:
Quote:
Enter the country or countries in which the main feature's production company/companies are based, in the order they appear in the credits.

So, what is/are the country/countries of origin for Sense and Sensibility (1995)? Many sites, like IMDb and Wikipedia, list this as a US/UK co-production - and, unsurprisingly, so do many profiles for the film in DVD Profiler. But the only studios involved are Columbia Pictures and Sydney Pollack's production company Mirage Enterprises - which are both American companies. Given the rule quoted above, it seems I would have to remove 'United Kingdom' as CoO for this film. Thoughts?

I checked the credits and nothing indicates it's a British co-production. Furthermore, if you take a look at the '96 BAFTAs, Sense and Sensibility was nominated for and won several categories such as Best Film, but was not nominated for Best British Film.

But the British Film Institute does list Great Britain as the production country, so I don't know.

Sounds like you are correct, per the rule, UK has to be removed.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Actually it lists Sense and Sensibility Behind the Scenes as UK. Sense and Sensibility it lists as USA.

Whoops. My bad. Thought it was a page for behind the scenes info on the movie, not a page for a making of!
