I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any differences between the PG-rated Vegas Vacation (which was the rating as released to theaters and on Blu-ray) vs the PG13 rated one on DVD? I assume it's just a mistake on the DVD one but was curious.

Here is the UPC of the DVD (rated PG13):
085392885725

And the BD (rated PG):
883929299027

Probably re-submitted and they felt the old PG was a bit too much for today's standards, and slapped the PG-13 on it. I've heard mumblings of different music, but I'm pretty sure that was fro the first film and not Vegas.

I've seen this a few other times. Searching my collection for PG-13 I find these:
Once Upon a Time in the West, there sure wasn't any PG-13 in 1968, but the dvd claims to be PG-13 so probably re-subbed to MPAA). Filmratings says 2003, and under 'other' says "originally rated M, re-rating".
Summer of Fear - made for TV movie in 1978, pre-dates PG-13 and shouldn't be rated at all, but dvd is "for some violence". Dated 2002 on filmratings.com

So either mistake(s) or re-subs. I bet on mistake cuz filmratings says only PG, and there's nothing about other versions on movie-censorship or imdb *(and imdb sometimes makes up alternate versions from posters dreams and whatnot )

Yeah, probably mistake because the PG-13 is on the older DVD while PG is now on the new, recently released, Blu-ray.
