Just loaded Profiler on a new PC and put backup on a flashdrive. After trying to restore the database, I get an error #11013 which says:
DBISAM engine error#11013. Access denied to table 'Actorassgn'

Any suggestions of what to do. I tried the repair utility and it ran and resulted with the same error next time I tried

Unfortunately, no patent solution from me... What I would do is that I would first copy that database to C: drive and try again from there - and if that doesn't work, I would open a Support ticket and explain the problem.

When copying the database to a new machine make sure that the new installation has sufficient access rights to the imported folders.

Win7 is much more restrictive in this regard as XP has been.
So open the database folder in Windows Explorer right-click on it -> Properties -> Security and check which access rights the currently logged user has (It is supposed to be "Full Access"). If the access rights are restricted you can change this here too.

If you already have "Full Access" Draxen's solution is quite promising.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
