I do this by installing DVDP on both machines then performing a backup on the laptop:

File -> Backup Databse,

then emailing the file or transferring by USB to the PC and restoring:

File - > Restore Database

If you're emailing it might be best to do a Custom backup without images or the file is likely to be too large
