I've watched a couple of films recently that appear to have '5-track mono'; in the sense that exactly the same track comes out of each speaker and my AV amp and (the sleeve) report the track as DD5.1. In each case switching to the DD2.0 Surround track immediately splits the sound up so that's it's clearly not mono. (With headphones on the 5.1 track was clearly mixed down to mono).
Do we contribute these as DD 5.1 or DD Mono?
