hi,

i have buy "Stirb langsam 1-5" (Die Hard 1-5) as box set as come on HD Keep Case with Slip Cover. So i have only one Cover for all five movies.

After i have add this box set to my collection im really confused.

There a many different cover for the individual movies.

List of Cover:

Box Set:

Stirb langsam

this cover is from legacy collection <- false

Stirb langsam 2

this cover is from legacy collection <- false

Stirb Langsam: Jetzt erst recht

cover for the right movie

Stirb Langsam 4.0

cover for the rigth box set

Stirb langsam: Ein guter Tag zum Sterben

this cover is from legacy collection <- false

So here are a lot of errors in it.

It is allowed to use the original cover for each of the movies and after that to contribute this cover. i build cover from the original movie with the ean of the box set so you can see that these movies are piece of the set.

Allowed or not?

What is likely going on here is that the individual discs were previously released in another box set, that time with different covers than the set that you bought. They likely have the same disc IDs as the previous releases - and in this case, the earliest release is the one that gets the cover image to match.

Your best choice is to change the covers to what you want, and then lock them down. Until Ken comes up with a system for multiple covers, that's all we can do.

The "Legacy Collection" (-> Limited Edition) and your boxset were both released on the same day, except for one (Die Hard 4) they share all discs.

Since, if released on the same day, it's impossible to determine the "First Release" it is usually handled that way that "First In Beats It All".
Means:
Even though the covers in the online database do not mirror your specific release, they are nevertheless correct and must not be changed.

You are however free to change the scans in your local database and keep them locked to prevent them from being changed.

It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Nope, as Danae pointed out, those profiles are most likely perfectly okay, just older.

So, all you can do is fix it locally.

Either you find suiting covers from earlier release or you could mock up covers from the parent, e.g. photoshop out the "1-5" and put in "1", "2" etc, similar to this

i think i take my own covers for this box set and lock them locally.
