Blu-ray's or DVD's with a bonus "Music CD" (blank Disc ID or not?)

I'm pretty sure that we do not add a bonus Music CD to the Disc ID section of a profile. We don't profile CD information in the program.

It should only be listed in the "Other Features" of the profile, correct?

The rules state when adding a Disc ID: "Add disc information for each disc using a DVD-ROM drive." After all, the program cannot even read any "Music CD's" to add them as a Disc ID, so why even add a "blank" entry?

I found a couple of older forum threads from 2007/2008 that agree with this, but nothing more recent.

POLL: Include a bonus Music CD in the Disc ID section of a profile, or not?

I'd say no, I'd profile it in other features.

Although I don't even like having a blank Disc ID for Digital Copy discs

Then don't!  See this thread on the subject: it seems there's a pretty solid consensus to not do that.

This is no different: it's an "Other Feature", and shouldn't be added by "Disc ID".

I always remove those Digital Copy discs locally also. I think the very definition of "Disc ID" goes against them even being added there, since you can't ID them from any drive...unless it's also just on a DVD disc!

Well, that thread is five years old, I can't really be blamed for having never seen it, right?

I've got/had a bunch in my local, I've always just removed 'em (have even gotten a few no votes over the years when trying to remove 'em so I just keep it all local now if one gets in).

I personally like them (aka my local) but was also unsure how to handle them on the online.

While we are on the subject, I'd love to have disc type added to the Disc area...( CD,DVD,BD,HD-DVD,3D BD, etc)
