Lou Reed

You will be missed
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

That is very depressing.

He had a liver transplant last May. To stop the body from attacking organs, you have to take drugs that turn off parts of the immune system. Current drugs work but take about 10-20 years off of your lifespan, which is more than you'd get without a vital organ. But taking these drugs at 70 doesn't have a good prognosis.

I wonder if he was a heavy drinker.
