Hi,

Maybe it's a stupid question, but I was wondering

I got a boxset of Star Wars I-II-III.
The 3 movies are on different discs within the same keep case.
Should they all have 'Keep Case' as case type? I added all 3 movies as child-profiles by disc-id, because they don't have an own UPC.

In an other profile I got a keep case, with 4 movies on different discs, have custom as case type. I didn't audit that one yet.
That's why I'm asking the question.

Grts,
Mitch.

Should be a keep case unless the discs have been released in a previous box set (perhaps that's why the other set had them as custom?).

Thanks Rizor.
Then I got it right. For the Star Wars boxset that I have, the discs haven't been contributed in an other profile yet.

But if the discs would have been contributed before for in other boxset, can/may I add them also to my new boxset-profile? I think for the other boxset that could be the 'problem', but that's for later. Still 200+ movies to audit

You can enter them as children.

You just must not contribute release-specific data (i.e.: scans, release-date, packaging, etc).
For your local you can change those to the desired values though, just make sure to keep them locked.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
