Hi, I just started using DVD profiler and love it. i only have two questions (at this time).
1. Some of my movie thumbnails have blue circles in the lower right corner with a white outer circle and a white number inside. the numbers are seemingly random. what do they mean or indicate?
2. Is the mobile version compatible with Android (specifically Samsung galaxy III), and can I load a copy of dvd profiler on my laptop and access my database online (after uploading it).

Hi, and welcome!

1. Those are the number of days until that title will be released. They are only used, for obvious reason, for pre-release titles. Once the title has been released, those numbers will go away.

2. Yes, there is a DVD Profiler app for Android. You can find it in either the Google Play Store or Amazon Appstore. It is a separate purchase from the main program, but is well worth it.

Just as a FYI

You can turn those numbers off that display on the thumbnails in the display options.

Also I have the App for IOS and if the Android one is anything like it (and I assume it is), I would recommend that you get it.

On a sidenote:

It is strongly recommended to use something else as your alias than your actual E-Mail address.
Except, of course, if you like to get a lot of messages from people trying to sell you the latest achievements of financial, medical and gaming industries.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

last question (embedded in the second one)
Can i install a copy of the main program on my laptop and access my collection from it. It seems like i should, if i can upload my collection to their "cloud", but Do I need to purchase the program twice to do it.

Why yes you can, only one DVD Profiler for Windows purchase is required.  You can then download your database from their online server to your laptop.  DVD Profiler for Android is a separate purchase however but like the Windows version you can install it on multiple Android devices.

Can I run DVD Profiler on more than one computer?
For instance, on a home computer and a work computer.

Answer:
You can run DVD Profiler on as many computers as you like, as long as only one copy is run at a time. If you have an Unlimited Registration key, you can enter it on more than one computer, as long as you ensure only one is run at a time. Note: you can also run a DVD Profiler 'server' on one computer and a 'client' on a second PC, using the database sharing capability.

How do I do this? What is different from a standard install?
I hope eventually to have this on my desktop (main) and on a laptop to browse, as well as my phone (Samsung III- android)
While watching a movie my wife will often ask where have we seen an actor before. with this on a laptop i could call up all i have watched and tell her ( also satisfy my curiosity at times).
