Ok, it's becoming more common these days for these blu-ray publishers to think they are smart and present the available audio tracks using the font and characters of the language itself. So I look at the audio available on the disk and see the obvious English and european ones that I am familiar with, but then they have others in their own languages and characters - which to me is just gibberish

Some of them I look at and think '<g> I've seen that before, what language is that...' So I am having trouble picking up the various audio tracks because I can't make out the language, and it's not often written on the back cover because they have 'English Francais Suomi and others' or something simliar.

So getting to the point, anyone know the best way to look up this stuff and find out what the language is? Or does someone have a chart or something?

If you have a Blu-ray drive on your PC try BDInfo

BDInfo kinda works, as long as the errors aren't too great. BDInfo doesn't understand all audio modes and takes quite a long time to run.

A reasonable chart. But, there must be still something more as none of it matches what I saw on the screen.

Also isn't Bahasa, Indonesian? Still it's a start and better then the nothing I have now :-)

Wikipedia to the rescue.. found more language stuff there that other sites don't have. I was getting messed up with Thai which I can't show cause I can't get the character display in these posts. But there's a couple of different ways to write it.

When I step through the audio tracks with my remote/mouse they all show as "normal" text.
