Credited or Uncredited when cast member plays a twin, clone or other character? |

For example, in season two of The Six Million Dollar Man Richard Anderson also portrays a robotic duplicate of Oscar Goldman. He is credited in the opening credits of each episode but with no role listed.
For this one episode who it be following the rules to list his roles as Oscar Goldman/ Oscar Goldman Robotic Duplicate?
Or list him twice and for the robot role list him as uncredited? |

If an actor is credited by name but does not have an associated role, you may use the film itself, or another source to identify the role. However, mass copy from a third party commercial database which violates their stated usage license is not allowed. In each case, list Actor’s names and roles (when given) exactly as they are in the credits and in exactly the same order credited. You watched the episode and know that he played both characters. So I think you can credit him as "Oscar Goldman / Robotic Duplicate" or something like that. Or list him twice and for the robot role list him as uncredited? If he's credited without a role listed, I usually consider it sufficient enough to cover all appearances. As for whether you should add the extra role, it's up to you and I guess voters. I've typically been torn on these. It's probably simplest just to use the most basic info for each character so that things stay consistent from episode-to-episode or season-to-season and it also helps prevent spoilers. I did audit a series where I updated character ranks/titles on an episode-by-episode basis. On one hand, it might be spoilery for some. On the other hand, it's how I wanted to organize the data and it was too much work for me to create several different versions of the cast lists. | | | My DVD/Blu-ray Collection
