| | Posted: | | | | I just did cast/crew profiles for Beetlejuice s. 4. On the disc and the cover, the titles of the episodes are all capitalized, including "a" "the" "with" and so on. So that's what I used for the headings. ex. "How Green Is My Gallery" and "Pranks For The Memories."
I've been asked to change them to "How Green is My Gallery" and "Pranks for the Memories" to follow capitalization rules. I can do this, but I guess my understanding was that unless it was all in caps (HOW GREEN IS MY GALLERY), that we copy it exactly as we see it.
I went quickly through the rules but did not see anything referring to this for headers.
So, I guess I'm asking what's the consensus? | | | | Lori |

| | Posted: | | | | Standard American English rules dictate that prepositions are generally not capitalized in titles. However, it appears that whomever authored the content on the case decided to throw those rules out the window, and stomped on them for good measure. Therefore, the correct submission should be the grammatically-incorrect Every Word Is Capitalized version, as it matches the cover, per the rules.
Copy the overview from the back of the DVD case exactly as written, including capitalization of words exactly as shown on the back of the case. |

So using these poll numbers as a community consensus would not be valid. From what I gather we are talking about episode dividers and not group dividers/headers. And the capitalization of those episode titles. It seems to me since we are talking about episode titles we should follow the capitalization laid out in the title section for consistency. |
