Audio Track encode difference between Stalingrad Blu-ray Disc and BD 3D set? |

The original profile lists the French Audio track as Dolby Digital 5.1 and that is verified as correct for the Blu-ray 3D disc. The Blu-ray disc that is also included in the set has the French Audio track in DTS HD Master Audio.
A contributor wants to change the profile to French DTS HD Master Audio 5.1. Is a No vote appropriate?

| | Posted: | | | | On the slip cover it clearly states Blu-ray + Digital HD UV and towards the right hand corner it has a banner that reads "Includes Blu-ray 3D Version" so imho the 2D version is the main profile and the 3D is a bonus.

The back of the slip-cover states: "Contains Both 2D & 3D Versions of the movie". If you go by the back cover it also says that the French Audio is DTSHDMA 5.1, which according to you is actually French Dolby Digital 5.1. I'm just going by the front cover in the fact that it says "Includes" the 3D version which makes the 2D version the primary profile. Mind you the top banner only says Blu-ray not 3D Blu-ray + Blu-ray. (Votes are currently 5 yes and 1 no.)

Rory There is no disc #1 and #2, only "STALINGRAD" and "STALINGRAD IN 3D" and the French Audio per the back slip cover is (PAR) = (Pro Audio Reduction) of DTS HD MA 5.1 in the encode form of Dolby Digital 5.1 and there is no mention of the Blu-ray disc's French audio track, only what is on the MVC 3D encoded disc, nothing is mentioned for the included AVC Blu-ray 2D encoded disc. | | | | Last edited: by Paul Hillenbrand |
