| | Posted: | | | | Can someone PLEASE add this dvd set to the database so I will be able to then add it to my collection in my DVD Profiler? I always seem to have problems when trying to contribute a profile. I own this dvd set and the upc on the back is 683904527103. If you type that into Google, you'll see this set listed in many places. It has 2 discs (Life With Mikie + Father Hood on the 1st disc and Swing Vote on the 2nd disc) so adding it by inserted disc really doesn't work correctly.

So per rules... if done correctly anyone else doing it would only be doing very little info in the parent profile. Especially if they do not have the set themselves. Most the could do is...

- Front Cover (if can find a good one without watermark)
- Maybe Back Cover (if can find a good one without watermark)
- Overview from back cover (if can find it)
- Running Time from back cover(if can find it)
- SRP
- Rating from back cover (if can find it)
What trouble do you have making contributions? I don't mind helping you out if you have any questions. I have a very good contribution ratings... though I normally only do profiles for discs I actually have in my hand. | | | | Pete |

This set was released in 2012 (states that on each disc) does not show individual original dates.
again the upc on the case is 683904527103 and there are TWO DISCS
I find no place in my profiler app to just add a totally new dvd profile. It seems to want to add the first one in my collection liist each time I try. A lot of times, I d/l profiles that are not really complete and I manually edit them and add the missing info. I may end up having to d/l a profile for one that the program has for another set of 3 movies and just change all the info but I dislike having to do that. | | | | Last edited: by hifrmny |

| | Posted: | | | | Once again... I don't do contributions for releases I do not own. Though I am happy to help you learn how to do what you need to do. First find and click the add DVD icon... See highlighted here...  That gives you this screen...  Type in UPC number and click Add to Owned. Only someone with the discs can add the child profiles as you must have disc in DVD Rom to add by Disc ID. But to do that on the above screen click the By Inserted Disc tab and Add to Owned. Do this with every Disc/Side you can. This will get you the blank profiles for you to start with. | | | | Pete |

| | Posted: | | | | When I type in the UPC, it just gies a ? and says is unknown...WOW!! I didn't know I could still click "Add to owned" even if it didn't accept the upc code. This is what I got...  Will be a long title to enter but will see what I can do here. |

| | Posted: | | | | Well, I added all the info I could, including scans of front & back covers but I have no child profiles. I added the extra disc under 'Add Disc' but that didn't really do anything, just listed them in that area. I have several 'sets' in my collection and they have a plus by them that opens and shows each dvd within that set. I guess I will wait awhile and see if someone else posts the correct profile for this set. Thank you for all your help. |

Once downloaded, examine how it is put together. Then apply the same principles to your profile.
Once you are done, then delete the profile that you downloaded

And that set does have the plus by the title that opens and shows all 3 movies. I did look at that one and I guess I have to do this by box sets and inserted disc as the first person here mentioned.

| | Posted: | | | | Create the child profiles first, by Disc ID.
On the first disc, if both movies are on the same side of the disc, use Episode Dividers.
Once you have the child profiles set up, start creating the parent profile by UPC.
While editing the parent profile, you will notice in the column on the left an item saying "Box Set Contents". There you can connect the child profiles you have created to the parent profile (search for them by Title). |
