Month Long Horror/Halloween Marathon |

WOOHOO! Only 2 more days and it will be that time of the year again! Time for my favorite marathon of the year! My month long horror/Halloween marathon! Normally every year I try to break my current standing record... but that is just not realistic for me to attempt now that I am back to work full time again. Can you believe work will just not allow me to take the full month off to watch movies? LOL So I have to make a new goal for me this year...
My Goal:
To be honest with you... I don't even know if this goal is realistic as I can't remember the last time I attempted this marathon while working a full time job... but this year my goal is: There is 31 days in October... so I will be attempting to watch at least 31 movies and 31 TV episodes before the end of the month. No goal on shorts though I will track/count these separately if I watch any. Shorts will not count towards the totals of movies of TV episodes.
Wish me luck!... I am going to need it!

| | Posted: | | | | First question for this thread (you knew they would come)... I got the 2014 version of Godzilla recently...  Profiler lists this film as Sci-Fi, Adventure and Horror. While I see the logic... there is a giant monster or two (never actually seen this film yet so please no spoilers!)... should this film really be considered horror? Basically want to know if this film should be included in this marathon or not... so opinions? | | | | Pete |

However, peace cannot last forever. It is a great ending to the season... one that leaves us wanting so much more. I remembered when this first aired I couldn't stop wondering what the scientist whispered into Rick's ear at the end. I had a lot of fun re-watching the season. A highly recommended series that must be seen. My Rating:

So if you do not like that style of movie then this one is definitely not for you. I personally enjoy that style of movie. It is definitely not the best one of this type that I have seen... but I did enjoy it. I like that they had Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter's sister on Dexter) in this movie. Since first seeing her on Dexter I have become a fan of her's. I liked the base storyline. I liked how they had fun with Jennifer Carpenter's character's interaction with the firemen before things got serious... and I liked how things progressed once they got to the apartment complex. Though I do think some of the scenes were a little too dark which took away from the enjoyment a little. My Rating:
