Good evening, Sirs,

I once knew it but I can't remember:

concerning asian names, do we put the first name in the last name field and the last name in the first name field, or vice versa?

If your usual western John Doe is once credited as Doe, John, do we then use the Credited As field?

Love, bbbbb

Back to the OP.
I just add them as there are in the credits, knowing that is incorrect, such as Chow Yun Fat (real life Yun Fat Chow) or Yuen Biao (real life Biao Yuen)

And this is the reason why most of Asian actors have at least two variants in CLT (Li Li has only one  ).

To have a proper linking, we should now open several thousands of common names threads to find the "Invelos" common name of all these actors, since existing data do not always match credits... How many years get correct common names ?

A rule change, entering name in a normalized way, as asked many times, would solve the problem immediately.

you might have a better chance of getting Asian actors to add a English first name like Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Corey Yuen, Andy Lau.

there is another Asian actor that isn't a name problem - Mars
