I'm new to DVD Profiler, having just discovered it about 3 weeks ago. I'm an avid movie AND music collector. I have many DVDs which came with magazines like Classic Rock and was surprised to find that not even one has a profile in the database (the same as the movie database program I formerly used.) Does anyone have profiles for this kind of disc?

I own a few that came with music magazines...

They're really just of a limited appeal. I suppose a lot of people just don't even consider adding them into their collection since they were basically "freebies".

If the titles in question aren't yet in the database, you'll need to contribute them for approval. The database is user built, so it depends on users like yourself to add the releases that aren't yet in the database.

Yes, I have some in my collection.

Unless they have a UPC of their own (i.e. other than the magazine), you'll have to add them by Disc ID. For the rest: if you can find the time to familiarize yourself with the Contribution Rules, you're ready to contribute them to the Invelos database yourself.

Thank you for your comments. I hate the idea of trying to manually add them all, especially since none have separate barcodes, but I guess I'll have to    That is, after I finish working on the 200 or so unrecognized barcodes I have as a result of importing from the program I was using before. At least I bought a small external Bluray/DVD drive!

Depending on what titles are on those discs cloning might ease that workload.

Thanks... I may have a few that are relatively "normal", but most are just various artist compilations created by the magazine. Eventually I'll have time to get them done!
