Updated my nexus 8 to android 5.1 and my dvd profiler has lost the ability to list my collection in anything other than alphabetical.
The buttons are missing?
My nexus 5 phone is OK so its not the dB
I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled which didnt work.
So I have just reset my tablet.
Anybody any ideas?
Thanks

Seems like all action bars don't like Android 5.1. The "toplevel"-icons are there, but once you klick one, the other options don't appear.
Search doesn't have a field in which to type either:

The options are there. They're "hidden". It's been that way on and off for awhile now. 1.1.5 usually gave a drop down list if you pressed all the way to the right in the blank field.
As for search, when the blank bar opens up, touch the open area and the keyboard should pop up.

The choices aren't hidden on my Nexus. There is only the check mark on the left and it doesn't matter where I touch on the bar none of the choices are there. Search doesn't bring up the keyboard, no choices for view or sort.

I just checked, unfortunately they are not invisible. So no keyboard or choices pop up when pressing any part of the menu bars.

The choices are there (hidden on my device also) they just don't show. It has been this way for a long time. Every once in awhile you get a drop down list. Otherwise, you work over in the right corner and the sort cycles A-Z, Z-A, #-Z.
As for search, same issue. The keyboard is called when you press to the right on the checkmark and above the line.
That there could be issues with your devices is possible. I'm not running a Nexus. It may be the flavor of Android your device is running.  I am running 1.1.5 Build 48 of DVD Profile mobile.

I am running 1.1.6 build 49 on Android 5.1 on a Motorola Nexus 6.
The choices are definetly not there (you are welcome to come over to germany and hammer on the display, just like i did, but they are not there!)

If i get the time later on, i might record a video, that shows this.

Thank you all for the replies.
Now I know that I'm not unique in this I will stop playing about with the setting.

I opened a technical support ticket. I hope this gets addressed soon, since the app without search capabilities is rather useless. Even more so, when you also can't order the collections alphabetical.
