| | Posted: | | | | For the CSI series. They have the Who song credited, written by Pete Townsend. But there is no credit as Theme by or Theme Song. Does this get a Theme by credit in a grey area or shoehorn type of way? |

If it's just a song credit, then it was written about 22 years before the series began. It wouldn't qualify as an "original" for a Song Writer credit in the episodes then, and if it has no Theme credit it really can't be entered as a credit there either. If the song is a re-mix or special re-recording done specifically for the series or something, that might possibly be a grey area there... but the rules don't really clarify in such dilemmas. | | | | Corey |

Group names of crew members together within each role available and list in exactly the same order credited. The table below gives each of the crew roles available within DVD Profiler. For each category, include only those people credited with the roles listed in the "Role" and "Credited As" columns. If someone is not credited with one of these roles (or direct translations of these roles), do not include them in the Crew section. so you are saying that since "Who Are You" is not credited anywhere in any season, any episode as a theme song, we can ignore the wording in the rules because it is played in every episode and considered a theme song. |

Just being the theme song isn't enough. initially what I thought until I checked the CLT for Pete Townshend and found 800 profiles and 75% are for CSI profiles. checked the forum search for Theme and got 30 pages, after the first few pages, got bored and quit reading the posts. | | | | Last edited: by ateo357 |
