Hi there--I had a question about how to handle the new release for the Original Christmas Classics Anniversary Collector's Edition.  The set comes with two discs, each in their own HD Slim case, housed with a slip case.  There are no UPCs on the HD slim cases.  There are 4 "stories" (what they're called on the overview) on the first disc and 3 on the second, all of which range from as short as 23 minutes to as long as 51 minutes. 

My question is how to handle these--as films, in which you would use alternate IDs, or as shorts, in which case they'd be on the same profile?  And if there are handled as films, how would the set be broken out, since there is no UPC on the HD slim cases, would all 7 have to go under one giant profile even though they come in different cases?

I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts; I can clarify more if I'm being unclear.

Hi and thanks for the prompt response.  There are actually 4 on one disc, and 3 on the other, so I'm guessing it would go something like this?

okay thanks.  My main question was whether they'd be considered TV episodes or not, but I guess thinking about they would be.

I would consider these shorts as well so no child profiles.

I wouldn't consider these shorts. They have been released individualy on disc.
It's the same as any of the Charlie Brown classics, they're not shorts.

Is there a difference between a short and a short film? I'm not a native speaker, but I always thought there is none. The Acadamy Awards consider everything a short film with a length of 40 minutes or less.

I am a native speaker and I have always thought there is none as well.  Having their own individual release doesn't make them feature films, they are still shorts.
