I'm working on disc profile submissions for The Sopranos and there are no overviews / synopsis for the episodes on the liner notes, box art or episode menus. IMDB has some pithy descriptions of episodes, but of course we cannot lift from that source. The Sopranos: S 1 EP 01 The Sopranos: SynopsisThe HBO website has synopsis for episodes that are very well written and I don't mind that they're a bit long, as people can just ignore the overview section. The biggest thing for me is whether these overviews contain what constitute spoilers. You would think that the people holding the rights to the work wouldn't do that because it might diminish the value of their product. Wikipedia is open source content, but what they have for each episode is very long. I'd rather not do the overviews myself, so I was wondering if there is another source from which this info could be borrowed? |
