Hi,

EAN: 5051892193795
Title: The Hobbit 3D: The Motion Picture Trilogy
Edition: Extended Edition

So far, so simple.

This box contains three seperate HD Keep Cases, each containing the movie and the appendices for the three movies in the set.

The problem: The individual sets don't have a seperate EAN (unlike the LOTR set 5017239151934)

Each case contains three discs for the movie: 3D Part 1, 3D Part 2, The Movie (i.e. 2D)

Which of these discs would make it in the "box set children" section of the parent profile, basically asking: What is the main identifier for the sub-profile?

Wow, surprised this hasn't gotten a response yet.

I'd say each case is the child, since they don't have a UPC/EAN I'd think you'd use the DiscID of the main movie.  Since in this case it is labeled Hobbit 3D that would be Disc 1 of the 3D.  Then each of the children would have children of their own for the 2D versions.  From the information provided, it appears to me that it doesn't matter if the main children have a UPC/EAN, that each case represents it's own child in it's entirety.  So IMO you treat each case as it's own release, then  group them under the box set parent.

I will set mine up:

Title: The Hobbit: The Motion Picture Trilogy
Edition: 3D Extended Edition

Each case will be a child of the parent and each disc will be grandchildren of those with the 3D spanning Part 1 and Part 2

Yeah, I don't have to worry about that anymore.

In the middle of profiling I noticed that I have Smaug 3D Disc 1 twice but no Smaug 2D disc.

Tried to get a new one from Amazon but they don't carry it at the moment.

They could only offer me a refund.

Sent it back just today.
