Really dumb you have to send the disc AND the case. No thanks. I'll live with the error.

The question is, should you hold onto the slipcover?

I had read that they can't prove the copy you got even came with one, so you could. I know if I was doing it, I would not include it. I just don't understand why the disc wouldn't be good enough.

The last few disc replacements I've done (Arrow, MVD, etc.) didn't even require me to send the disc back. If you attached a proof of purchase scan or screenshot it was good enough for them. They just asked that you destroy the old discs afterwards.

It is mind-boggling why they would need you to send the entire thing back. I can't recall ever needing to do that before with any replacement program. Some would require the disc to be sent back, yes, but they'd generally state to keep the case.

It is so unusual, and for such a minor glitch (which admittedly I didn't even notice). It's not the same thing as the sound mixing error on the ST: TNG SS1 Blu-ray set and in that replacement, they didn't require you to send in the disc.

Probably because it is so minor, and most wouldn't notice, that they want you to return it so that you don't sell it on.

Perhaps. Anyway, I'm not bothering with it.

The corrected DC disc has a yellow UPC code on the back.
