Birth years go the other way round: If a BY of an actor or crew member gets updated (by refreshing the local profiles) DVD Profiler knows many case where all profiles of this actor/crew member gets the new BY. Needless to say, that these BYs need not to be correct at all  I can't prove anything, but here is a good thread to get a feeling... Another thing is case sensing and first/middle/last issues: these do NOT get imported with an profile refresh. e.g. Deborah LaMia Denever is not updated to Deborah Lamia Denever and vice versa; Kristin/Scott/Thomas is not corrected to Kristin//Scott Thomas only by refreshing the profiles... Therefore everybody has to decide for himself how to write the actors and crew members. Never the less they get corrected on contribution... yes, a vast oportunity for crap data... |
