There was lots of cross over in the CLT results, so wanted to establish a common name for Reverend Robert (W.) Castle (a favorite for director Jonathan Demme).

I was able to verify almost all credits in the system and determine the common name of Robert Castle but wanted to share the results in case anyone wanted to refer back to this thread when making contributions and so it can be added to AiAustria's common name thread. The credits of Rev. Robert Castle and Father Robert Castle are to be credited using the common name anyway (as per the rule on honorifics), but wanted to make sure I properly included them here as well.

There's a couple of credits left unconfirmed, if anyone can confirm them, I'll update the thread as necessary.

Thanks!

*Note: Would be properly credited as Robert Castle [Father Robert Castle] anyway due to the rule on honorifics

The contribution rules tell us...
Quote:
Military rank/affiliation or other honorifics should be included in the 'Credited As' field. Example: a credit of "Cpl. John Smith, USMC" should be entered as First Name: "John", Last Name "Smith", Credited As "Cpl. John Smith, USMC"

... to omit honorifics. From my point of view Rev. is one. Therefore this entry/ies should be counted with Robert Castle.

Please read the second paragraph of my post.

Thanks.

It's been pointed out to me that a common name thread had already been done...

All good.

Here's the link to that thread started by mitchg:

Common Name for Robert Castle

It's missing the credits where he has Father or Rev. attached to him, but it's there, so now we have two. Double safe! Yay.
