Got a new PC. thought i had everything backed up.  Can't find database or backup.  can someone verify the file types that should be looking for?
if I can't locate, is hand scanner the best way to build a new database?  about 300 dvds and blurays.

If it's a backup you did of your database, the file should end with the extension .dpb

It looks like your online database is empty, so you might have to re-enter your database if you can't locate a backup file. A barcode scanner would probably be the fastest method, but 300 titles probably wouldn't take all that long to add even if done manually.

The main database consists of numerous files and folders. In the main folder there should be a file called COLLECTION.DAT.
Complete list of Common Names  •  A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1)

Found the file.  buried deep and didn't show in single word searches.
Many thanks and Happy New Year!

You should consider uploading your collection online, too, so you'll have another backup option if necessary. You can set it to "private" if you don't want others to see it.
