Per rules for Visual Effects these are the credits which are allowed.
Individual Credits:
Visual/Digital/Special/Special Visual Effects, including Designer, Supervisor, and Director,
Special Photographic Effects.

Above it doesn't say Visual Effects CG Supervisor and still i see they are credited with for instance Ready Player One. Is this generaly allowed i like to know??

Thanks

At this time, the answer is no.

On a related note, I really think it should.

I see this no different than allowing Digital Effects Supervisor.
Digital is done by what? Computers.

In fact, many times I've hear the term "CGI", ie Computer Graphics Imagery.

So I'd like to see Computer Graphics Supervisors be allowed into the online database.

... and therefore I'd vote for allowing it as valid VFX credit.
Complete list of Common Names  •  A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1)

I've posted a request in the Contribution forum.

(But I doubt it'll go anywhere since the community has a record of not agreeing on much and two the rules hasn't been updated in years (even after the rollout of a new version of the program with new features).
