Is this more useful then TmdbCheck? You decide. Here's an example of what you can do to explore The Movie Database:

1) Search for King Kong and double klick "King Kong (1976)
2) See info for the film. Double click on "Dino De Laurentiis Company".
3) See all titles produce by that company.

4) Close the company credits window and click on the Cast tab. Double click "Jessica Lange".
5) See all titles that Jessica Lange appears in. Double click on "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof".

6) Now you get the info for Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and you can go on from there.

Currently the initial search is only for movie titles. I could expand it so you could search directly for cast/crew or production companies. It's possible to add other features as well. Let me know if you are interested.
No feedback = no further development.

Note: Only movie titles are returned, not TV shows.

You can get TmdbInfo 1.0.0 here.

I downloaded it and unzipped it and opened up the folder and ran the exe program and it sat for awhile and then a pop-up came up saying the below:

"This application requires one of the following version of the .NET Framework:
.NETFramework,Version=v4.6"

I'm not computer savvy so I didn't click ok to download that.

What exactly is that and how do I check what version I have on my computer and how do I know that that version will work on my Windows 7 computer?

The .NET Framework is a set of computer program libraries that Microsoft invented back in the early 2000s. Every Windows version comes with a certain version but depending on your Windows Update settings and Microsofts internal philosophy, not every Windows always gets the newest .NET automatically.

But it is safe to install and since it is backwards-compatible, you can take the newest version which is currently 4.7.2.

Yeah, I have updates turned off because I heard that Microsoft was forcing an update to Windows 10 and some people had problems once that happened.

If I download that and I have computer problems I can reverse that by restoring to a restore point, right?
