And I found myself on the fence on this one.... sure there is some horrific things in this... but would you personally have this as horror in your collection. Why would you not consider it a horror film? What essential element does it lack? Personally, I have Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein categorized as "horror" in my collection, so I'm flexible. --------------- |

When I said earlier that I'm flexible, and have Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein cataloged as "horror", that was meant to suggest that if Venom was categorized as "horror" in the online database, and I added it to my collection, I would probably retain that genre. By the way, this is what Wikipedia says about Venom and horror: Quote:

Frankenstein, Dracula and the Wolfman are classic horror movie monsters so, even if the movie is a comedy, as they are with the 'Abbott and Costello meet' versions, I would consider anything with them in it as a horror sub-genre. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
